Entirety Biomedical is a Michigan-based developer and manufacturer of advanced absorbable implants created from our proprietary Curasorb metal alloy technology. The company was founded in mid-2022 by two leading pioneers in bioabsorbable magnesium alloy implant design and development.

Following successful early careers at Boston Scientific under mentorship of the world’s foremost renowned experts in development/commercialization of novel biomaterials, company founders Jake Edick and Carolyn Woldring have continued working to advance absorbable metal implant technology.

Upon witnessing the launch, and failed market adoption, of early first-generation absorbable implants that were unable to meet effective absorption targets and surgeon requirements, Jake & Carolyn studied the various flaws that had occurred, understood the engineering and manufacturing changes that would be necessary for a successful commercial product, and set a new path to overcome competitor challenges and early market bias to finally deliver a truly revolutionary absorbable implant product to surgeons and patients. Thus, Entirety Biomedical was born.
